Policy Statement
It is the policy of Christopher Sims to:
- Due to the business’ mobility, will only carry out services in spaces that are deemed safe to do so, through regular inspection and maintenance.
- Comply with all relevant work health and safety legislation.
- Consult with employees on work health and safety matters.
- Provide and maintain safe systems of work.
- Provide information, training, instruction, and supervision to employees.
- Monitor the health of employees and the conditions at the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Employer Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that spaces used for business activities are suitable and well maintained.
- Provide and maintain safe equipment and facilities.
- Provide appropriate training and supervision.
- Investigate and report incidents and hazards.
- Employee Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Report hazards and incidents promptly.
- Use equipment and facilities safely.
- Participate in relevant safety training.
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
Regular assessments will be conducted to identify potential hazards in the workplace. Control measures will be implemented to minimize risks.
First Aid
A first aid kit will be available on-site. All employees will be trained in basic first aid.
